Backstage

IFW(İstanbul Fashion Days) geldi geliyor bu sefer santral'de bakalım nasıl olacak derken onu da devirdik bile:) Fashion week boyunca backstage'de olduğumdan gelişmeleri anı anına yazamadım ama elimde bir sürü backstage ve defile anısıyla işte hazırım paylaşmaya..

We were waiting for IFW with excitement to get started in Santral Istanbul and finally it has come to an end :) I was at backstage at whole week because of this i couldn’t write anything lively but now i have a lot of backstage and catshow memories and ready to share all of them…

Defileleri izler, sonrasında da acaba bu işler nasıl dönüyor, defile kombinasyonları neye göre seçiliyor, mankenler, makyajlar o koşuşturmaca nasıldır diye milyonlarca soru sorar ve hayal kurardım..bu soru yağmuru IFW 10 ile sona erdi:)

I was watching catwalks before and asking millions of questions, dreaming about how those things work, how do they combine the catwalk clothes, choose models, makeup and the excitement of rush at backstage etc. At last those questions in my mind ended with IFW 10 :)

Benim gibi merak edenler için işte izlenimler..

Those are my impressions for the ones who are curious about all…

Defile kombinasyonlarının seçimi gerçekten belki de işin en sancılı kısmı..en önemli kural, koleksiyon hakkında fikir versin ama bütün koleksiyonu deşifre etmesin..

The most painful part of this work is probably choosing the Catwalk combinations. The most important rule is to give idea about the collection but not uncover the whole collection.

İşin en keyifli kısımlarından biri bilin bakalım ne? tabii ki manken seçimi:)

And guess what is the most enjoying part of the process? Of course choosing the models:)

Temaya uyacağını düşündüğünüz modelleri katalogdan seçiyorsunuz..artık kuzey avrupa modelleri mi yakısır benim koleksiyonuma, yoksa sıcak güzeller mi yakısır keyfinize göre seçiyorsunuz..

You are choosing the models from the catalog that are most suitable for your theme. Thats your choice at that point whether you choose a north european model or a hot latino…

Sonra modeller geliyor ve işte kombinasyonlarla modellerin ilk buluşma anı! ve bir itiraf : kesinlikle güzel ve yakısıklı olan en güzel kombinleri kapıyor..yani güzellik her yerde kazanıyor :)
And after that, models arrives and combinations meets with the models for the first time! And a confession at that point: absolutely the most beautiful and handsome ones get the best combinations… That means beauty wins in everwhere :)

Ve backstage koşuşturmacası..bir bölümde önceki defilenin mankenleri soyunup giyinirken diğer tarafta bir sonrakilerin saçı makyajı yapılıyor.. saç makyaj yapılırken tema göz önüne alınıyor, o kısım artık işin şov kısmı, mümkün olduğunca uçuk kaçık olması gerekiyor..

And the backstage rush… While one of the designers models are dressing at one part of the backstage, at the other part other designers models hairs are prepared and also the make-up’s… The make up and the hairs are prepared according to the collections theme and that part is the show business of this process. And as possible that part should be extraordinary.

Mankenlere gelince..çokk güzel ve yakışıklılar arkadaşlar gerçekten..ve çoğu inanılmaz sıcak ve sempatik..podyumda yeri göğü yakıyorlar, içeri girince ise çoğu birden sevimlilik abidesi oluveriyor ve yürüyebildim mi, oldu mu, yanlış mı döndüm acaba gibi soru yagmuruna tutuveriyorlar birbirlerini..ya da aynanın karsısında kendilerine bakıyorlar olmus muyum diye..

And the models… They are totally beautiful and handsome… and most of them are so cute and sympathetic… They are so hot and cool when they are walking at the platform but they return back to the backstage they again become so cute and start to talk between each other about their walks and behaviours… or else they stand infront of the mirror to look at themselves how perfect i am..

Defile bitiyor, modacı rahatlıyor, herkes birbirine sarılıyor ve işte kocaman bir ohh çekme zamanı..

At last catwalk ends, designer feels better, everybody hugs each other and the time for everybody to relax…
