Beyoğlu'nun renkleri :)

Beyoğlu'na her çıktığımda(nızda)  mutlaka bir grup bir yerlerde müzik yapar öyle değil mi?

When i (we) go to Beyoglu surely a band playing music at somewhere, isn't it?

Bugün yine sokakları pek bir şendi Beyoğlu'nun..Benim yakalayabildiğim günün grupları  :)

The streets of Beyoglu was so cheerful today.. Those are the bands that i saw today :)

Bu grupları görünce aklıma South Park'ta ki Peru muzik grubu bölümü geldi :) Ne  dersiniz bizi de Perulu gruplar dev farelerden mi korumaya geldiler acaba? :))

When i saw this band, it reminded me the South Park episode with Peruvian band :) How about it? Did they come here to protect us from the giant mice? :))

Galata Moda'da son günler..

Galata Moda tüm hızıyla devam ederken ödevlerden fırsat bulup, tekrar gitme şansı buldum sonunda :)

When Galata Fashion Week continues, i found some spare time from my projects and went to event again:)

Geçen sefer yoğunluktan Günseli Türkay'ın standını gezme fırsatım olmamıştı..Bu sefer ilk önce kendimi onun standına attım :) Tasarımlarının  özgünlüğü ve stiline bayılmam bir yana, kendisi de gerçekten çok içten, güleryüzlü ve hoş bir kadın..Tasarımlarına daha detaylı bakmak isterseniz, www. gunseliturkay.com adresinden ulaşabilirsiniz :)

At my first visit, i didn't have chance to see Gunseli Turkay's stand because of the crowd. This time i immediately went to her stand :) Her unique design's and her style are that i admire aside she's also close, friendly and a good looking lady.. Günseli Türkay dışında Arzu Kaprol ve İdil Tarzi'nin standına da uğradım ama belki de yoğunluklarından dolayı yeterli ilgi gösterilmemişti Galata Moda için..Kışın gördüğüm koleksiyonun nerdeyse aynısı vardı..:(

After Gunseli Turkay, i also visited Arzu Kaprol and Idil Tarzi's stand but maybe because of their work load they did not show an interest on Galata Fashion Week.. The collection's that i saw their stand's was nearly the same with the collections that i saw at winter..

Bahar Korçan'da geçen sefer gözümden kaçan bu elbiseyi ise çok beğendim :)

Galata Moda yavaş yavaş sona ererken, fark ettiğim ve üzüldüğüm birşey var, çoğu tasarımcının standları başında olmayışı..

When Galata Fashion Week end's there is one thing i noticed and make me feel upset that most of the designers are not waiting at their stands..

Eğer Türk modası ilerlesin, tasarımcılar daha tanınır hale gelsin istiyorsak mutlaka bu konuya dikkat edilmeli diye düşüyorum..

If we want Turkish fashion to move on and designer's become more populer then we have to pay attention to this subject..

Koleksiyonların başında bir asistanı ya da satış müdürünü bıraktığınızda, o kişi tüm iyi niyetiyle koleksiyonu ya da tasarımı anlatmaya çalışsa da asla işin sahibinin vermek istediği havayı tam olarak veremez bence..

Leaving an assistant or a selling manager at the stand's, whether those people work with good faith, they can not give the exact idea of the collection that designer have..  

Bu bakımdan her uğradığımda standının başında olan ve konuklarıyla evlerine gelen dostları gibi ilgilenen Simay Bülbül'ü ve Günseli Türkay'ı tekrar tekrar kutluyorum :)

For this case, i want to thank and congratulate Simay Bulbul and Gunseli Turkay that they behave their customers like a friend visited their home everytime i visited their stand :)

Duyduk duymadık demeyin Galata Moda başladı!!!!

Duyduk duymadık demeyin! Galata Moda, bu sene 26-30 Mayıs 2010 tarihlerinde Beyoğlu'nda, Odakule'nin tam karşısı ile Turkcell'in çaprazına  ve TRT binasının önüne düşen yerde kuruldu..

Here's the big announcement! Galata Fashion Week will settle at Beyoğlu infront of Odakule, crossways of Turkcell Plaza and infront of TRT building at between 26 - 30 may.

Bizde öğlene yaklaşırken vakitler Selin'le topladık pılımızı pırtımızı, bindik karaköy motoruna, tünelden geçerek vardık Galata Moda'ya..Üç sene boyunca bir celocan olarak süren hayatımda bu rutini her gün tekrarlamışsam da bugün başka bir keyifle gittim doğrusu Tepebaşı'na :)

We were ready to leave home with my friend Selin before noon, after that we used to boat to go to Karakoy, used the tram at Karakoy tunnel and arrived Galata Fashion.. I repeated this progress for three years while i was working as a cellocan (Turkcell mascot) at Turkcell but today i was at a different kind of joy when i arrived Tepebasi :)

Galata Moda yerleşim olarak bu sefer gerçekten hem ulaşımı kolay hem de alanı geniş bir yere konuşlanmış..Dolayısıyla yaş olarak daha olgun teyzelerde taksiye bindikleri gibi gelebilmişler, rahatça alışverişlerini yapıyorlardı..

Galata Fashion settlement is at a better place this time. Especially the place is really easy to reach and a huge area is a good choice.. And because of this mature ladies could easily reach to place using a taxi, and were shopping comfartably..

Galata Moda ile ilgili ilk izlenimlere gelince..

Here's my first impressions about Galata Fashion..

İlk olarak Özgür Masur'dan bahsetmek istiyorum..Mezuniyeti olan, düğüne derneğe gitmek isteyen bu standa gelsin hatta koşsun bence!:) Çünkü bütün elbiseler hem çok güzel hem de Galata Moda dolayısıyla tüm elbiseler 350 Ytl'idi..(güneş başıma geçtiğinden yanlış anlamadığımı umuyorum :))

First of all i would like to talk about Ozgur Masur.. People who will go to a prom or a wedding must see his stand immidately or you'd better run!:) Because all the dresses are marvellous and as a special sale for Galata Fashion there were 350 turkish lira.. ( i hope i did not read the prices wrong because of the sunstroke) :))

Simay Bülbül yine her zamanki gibi harikaydı..renkli şapkalar, penye elbiseler..Üstelik %50'ye varan indirim vardı ..Gözünüze kestirdiğiniz bişeyler varsa kaçırmayın derim :)

Simay Bulbul was again great as usual.. Coloured hats, combed cotton dresses.. Also there was sale up to %50.. I would advise you to buy the things that you really like:)

Bahar Korçan'nın "Kabullen ya da Değiştir" koleksiyonuna bir kez daha bayıldık..Elbiselerin hepsi çokkkk güzeldi  ama şahane indirimler vardı diyemeyeceğim..
We again loved Bahar Korcan's collection "Accept or Change it" .. All of the dresses were really beautiful but i can't say that there are good sale percantages..

Özlem Kaya'nın penyeleri harikaydı..Yazın püfür püfür giymek ve tarzınızı belli etmek için gerçekten ideal ..Üstelik fiyatları da gayet alınabilir düzeyde..

Ozlem Kaya's combed cottons were really great.. Her designs are really good choice to wear at the summer and show your style.. And also the prices are really reachable..

Tasarımlarını çok sevdiğim Gamze Saraçoğlu'nun bu sefer Galata Moda'ya yeterli ilgiyi göstermediğini düşünüyorum..Belki de iş yoğunluğundan..

Gamze Saracoglu who i like her designs so much was not interested on Galata Fashion so much.. Maybe because of so much over work.

Fena halde migrenim tuttuğu için çok fazla kalamadık Galata Moda'da..doyamadım..en kısa zamanda tekrar gidip daha detaylı bakınmak istiyorum..Şimdilik olay yerinden bilgiler bu kadar..:)

We couldn't stay to much at Galata Fashion because of my migraine.. was not enough for me.. i'll go and look all the designs again as soon as possible.. This is Moda Vitrini reporting for the Fashion sceen ..:)

Unutmadan bir de ülkemizin tescilli ikoncan'ı Eda Taşpınar'ı gördük..Kendisi hararetle tulum arayışı içindeydi..:)) 

And for the last word, Eda Taspinar who is one of important celebrity of our country was searching for a playsuit for herself..:)

Bride Wars :)

Çok sevdiğim arkadaşlarımdan biri geçen gün aradı ve Ayşegül sana mutlu haberi veriyorum hazır mısın dedi, evleniyorummmm:))Bu mutlu habere dayanamayan ben, her zamanki sakarlığımla Feneryolu'nun sokaklarında uzun bir uçuş gerçekleştirerek düştüm :))
One of my friend called a few days ago and told me was i ready for the happy news, she was getting married:)) Me that can not handle that great news, with my classical clumsiness i was flying all along Feneryolu streets since i found myself on the sidewalk:))

Yine de ne telefonumun 10 mt. öteye düşmesi, ne de dizlerimin yara bere içinde kalması, bu romantik evlilik teklifini dinlememe mani olamadı ve hiçbir şey olmamış gibi telefonumu düştüğü yerden aldım, kaldırıma oturdum ve bu güzel teklifi dinlemeye koyuldum..:)
Yet my cellphone was 10 meters away, whether my knees were bleeding, none of them stopped my listening a romantic wedding proposal and i took my cellphone from the ground, sat onto the sidewalk and listened the proposal with excitement:)

Ve telefonu kapattıktan sonra bu anın ne kadar değerli olduğunu düşündüm.. Bilmiyorum aynı fikirde misiniz ama bence bir ilişki içinde aklımızda kalan başlıca anlar, o ilk kıvılcımın çaktığı an, ilk öpücük(böyle bir fransız dizisi de vardı hatırlar mısınız? :) ), çok çokk özel bir jest anı ve tabii ki evlenme teklifinin geldiği an heralde..
And after closing the phone i thought about how important this moment was.. I don't know if you're thinking the same with me but inside a relation the most important moments that you remember is the first kiss (there was a French soap opera, can you remember that :) ), very very special jesture moment and of course the moment of a wedding proposal...

Şahsen ben gece tam 12'de bir yandan havai fişekleri izlerken, eşimin bana verdiği kinder süpriz çikolatanın içinden evlilik teklifi ve yüzüğün çıkacağını hiç ama hiç tahmin etmezdim.. Gerçekten çok güzel bir süprizdi ve o günden bu yana her yılbaşı başka bir anlam taşır benim için :)
For myself, while i was watching the fireworks at 24:00 at a new year night, my husband gave me a Kinder Suprise chocolate as a gift and i never guessed that there was a ring inside of it.. Really it was a beautiful surprise and from that moment every new year night mean something different for me :)

Bu romantik tekliften sonra ilk akla gelen şey ise tabii ki gelinlik, saç-makyaj ve düğün mekanı :)
After this romantic proposal of course wedding dress, hair, make-up and the place of the wedding coming to mind :)

Ben evlenirken Oscar ödüllerinin de denetçisi olan firmada denetçiydim(Türkçesini yazmak bir tuhaf geldi , neyse! :) ) ve tahmin edersiniz ki o yoğun  tempoda gelinlik provasına gidecek vaktim olmadı..
When i was marrying i was working for a company who was auiditng the Oscar Awards (It's a bit weird writing in that way, whatever!:) ) and you can guess that i was so busy that i didn't have time for fitting the wedding dress at that working progress..

 Sonuç: Düğüne birkaç gün kala boyu bileğimin üstünde kalan korkunç bir gelinlik..Aynı gün yeni ve güzel bir gelinlik bulduk üstüme göre  ve açıkta kalmadım sonuçta ama istediğim gelinliği giyemediğim için 5 senedir hala her gelinlikçinin önünden geçerken camına yapışırım..
The result: A few days to wedding day with a horrible wedding dress that is coming to my ankles.. The same day we found a new and beatiful wedding dress that fits to me so i was ready for the wedding day but i still look at the wedding dress stores when i saw one for the past 5 years.. 
Bütün bunları niye anlatıyorum? Ben yaptım siz yapmayın, bu işi acele getirmeyin, içinize sinmeyen gelinliği giymeyin, saçınızı makyajınızı içinize sinen bir yere yaptırın :))
Why am i telling you these? I have done this wrong and advise you not to do, do not rush, do not wear a wedding dress that permeate into you, and make your hair and make-up that permeates into you :))

Zaten gelinlik bakmayı çok sevdiğim için bu senenin modellerine de bir göz attım..Beğendiğim modelleri aşağıda bulabilirsiniz..Belki bir fikir ve ilham olur kimbilir :)

Cannes 2010 Red Carpet

Bu yıl Oscar törenlerinde film yıldızlarının giydiği tasarımlar çok ilgi çekici değildi, bu yüzdendir ki Cannes'dan da çok umudum yoktu..Ancak hiç düşündüğüm gibi olmadı..Cannes'da bu yıl yıldızlar tam olması gerektiği gibi parladılar..:)

The dresses that movie stars wore in this year Oscar Award were not so attractive, so because of this i didn't expect so much thing from the Cannes award.. But it was not what i expected.. The stars shine in Cannes Awards as they expected..:)

Cate Blanchett who opened the Cannes Film Festival, was very simple but so chick with her pink Armani dress..

 

Gündüz giydiği takımı Armani'den seçen Cate Blanchett, gece kıyafetini ise Alexander Mcqueen'e yaptırmış..Cate Blanchett, Hollywood'da en çok beğendiğim kadınlardan biri kesinlikle..Bu tasarımla da hem stili yansıtmış hem de çokkk güzel..

After her Armani dress that she wore in the afternoon, she designed her night dress to Alexander Mcqueen. Cate Blanchett is one of my favourite actress in Hollywood.. She reflects her style with this design perfectly and looks sooo beautiful in this dress..

2010 Yaz Sezonu Ayakkabıları-Ayakkabı aşkına!

Hayatta herkesin birşeylere zaafı vardır..Hangi ortamda ve şartta olursa olsun görünce dayanamadığı, içindeki stop düğmesine bastığı şeyler..Benim için de bu sıralamada birinci sırada dondurma gelir sonra da ayakkabı  :)
Everyone has some weaknesses for something in life.. No matter at what place or in which conditions things that you push the stop button that when you realize them.. For me the listing start with ice cream and shoes coming after that:)

Ayakkabı gerçekten başka bir aşk..ve ihtiyaçla kesinlikle alakası olmayan bir durum..:) Canım sıkkın olduğunda ya da birşeylere kızdığımda, hemen kendimi bir Steve Madden, Elle ya da Nine West'e atarım..ve  mutlaka birşeyler indirimdedir ve beğendiğim tam da ayağıma göre olan ayakkabı hadi beni al diye beklemektedir..Hikaye çok tanıdık geldi değil mi? :))
Shoes are really a different kind of love.. And it's not related with your needs:) When i feel depressed or mad into something, i definetely enter into a Steve Madden, Elle or Nine West store.. And probably something is on sale or the shoe that i really like is looking at me to buy itself.. Story is so familiar, isn't it?:))
